Yesterday, I was done.
What dose this mean? It means that I did everything yesterday that I said I was going to do. I worked out, completed work assignments and attended my daughter's soccer game.
Accomplishment is the blood of life, frustration sets in when we cannot do all that we set out to do.
I have always been one that has tried to complete all of the goals that I set out to do. From graduating from high school and college to earning my latest graduate degree in technical communications. I have always tried to complete my tasks. I am not the greatest runner in the world but I completed the Twin Cities marathon and received a medal for it. I was tired toward the end but continued because I had made a commitment. I have not always been rewarded for my accomplishments by others but the self fulfillment that I receive from my accomplishments far outweighs what others think or do not think. These accomplishments have also made me always qualified for any job that I would want to take.
If you want real fulfillment start completing tasks start with little ones and then go to bigger ones. Do not blame other people because the task is not complete. The choice is up to you whether to work toward a goal and finish it or use excuses as to why you did not. Excuses have never and will never replace accomplishments.
